Lyte displays the currently punched-in employees, the currently punched-out employees and optionally any comments. You can allow or prohibit employees from viewing the IN/OUT Board. You have a choice of two employee punch modules shipped with the program. Our standard punch module is designed for computer keyboard punching and our quick punch module is designed for use with barcode/magnetic card readers. Employees can punch by our assigned employee number or by any identifier you choose (name, social security number, payroll ID, student ID, etc.). Employees can optionally view their total time worked. The employee simply clicks a button from the punch module, enters their employee code, optionally enters their password, enters the starting date, and the system calculates their total time worked. The punch module restricts employees from punching IN or OUT consecutively. The employee is also warned today when they forget to punch-OUT yesterday. Our special snoop feature records each time the system clock is changed on any computer on the network and records the old time, the new time, and a serial number that identifies the node. We believe on open systems. The TimeClock Lyte data can be accessed with any ODBC compliant product like Excel or Access. You can also access the data directly with Microsoft Access 97. Time-worked information can also be exported to a comma-delimited file for importing into payroll packages. Option to track time worked by department, location, type of hours, or any other type of identifier. Employees can be required to supply passwords before punching or viewing time worked. Weekly workweeks that can start on any day of the week. Variable pay periods when PayClerk Lyte is used -- weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly -- your choice.
